USC's No. 1 women's swim team defeated host Hawaii, 158-146, and downed Boise State, 163-41, while Troy's No. 5 men's team got by Hawaii, 150-54, in non-conference dual-meet action in Honolulu on Friday (Jan. 4).

The women's squad improved to 7-0, the men 4-0. Results were delayed due to technical issues in the scoring.

USC junior Vladimir Morozov, who, with junior German teammate Dimitri Colupaev took the fall semester off to compete internationally, saw his first NCAA action this season and won the 50y (19.67) and led relay wins in the 200y medley and 400y free relays. Colupaev won his only individual event (100y free, 44.60) and also swam on USC's 400y free relay.

Senior Haley Anderson posted a pair of wins on the women's side in the 500y (4:51.19) and the 1000y free (9:52.34).

Anderson was the only double winner on the day. USC won 17 of 18 individual events (including a tie in the 200y IM by junior Stina Gardell and senior Jessica Schmitt).

Both the men and women's teams return to action against Wisconsin Jan. 12 at USC at noon.
