THIS SEASON: A 2007 junior, Ali Tycast is one of the top platform divers in the Pac-10 and who lends solid dual-meet scoring punch for the Trojans.
2006: Tycast posted a career-best fourth-place on platform (265.50) at the 2006 Pac-10 Championships as a sophomore. She was also 20th on 1-meter (203.50) and 23rd on 3-meter (215.80) ... She also competed at the 2006 Zone E Championships as well as in dual meets.
2005: Tycast competed in three events at the 2005 Pac-10 Championships, taking 12th on 1-meter springboard (212.05), 13th on 3-meter (392.40) and 14th on platform (307.40) ... She also competed at the 2005 Zone E Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Tycast prepped at Westwood High, where she was an All-American and All-State performer as a junior in 2003 and she earned school diver of the year honors in 2002 ... She was a 2003 junior region and zone champion on platform and was a 2002 and 2003 junior world trials qualifier ... She was also a 2004 American Cup qualifier and a 2001-2003 junior national qualifier ... Her Woodlands Dive Team won national titles in 2003 and 2004 ... She was a member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society and Honor Roll.
