    THIS SEASON: Rebecca Heyliger is a 2015 senior co-captain who has made steady progress as a freestyle and butterfly sprinter for the Trojans. A Bermuda national teamer, Heyliger, one of the team's top student-athletes, looks to finish off her Trojan career with a strong postseason.

    2014: Heyliger continued to provide strong depth in the free and fly as a 2014 junior and posted three lifetime best times last season in the 50y (23.46) and 100y free (52.47) and the 100y fly (58.03) ... After the season, she competed at the 2014 Caribbean Island Swimming Championships, where she won five medals. She won silvers in the 50m fly (29.14) and the 50m (27.00) and 100m (59.71) free while claiming bronze medals in the 100m fly (1:05.37) and the 50m back (31.62) ... She earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors.

    2013: Heyliger, as a 2013 sophomore, finished 43rd in the 100y fly (1:00.58), 46th in the 50y free (23.86) and 50th in the 100y free (53.58) at the 2013 Pac-12 Championships ... She earned 2013 Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors.

    2012: Heyliger competed in three events at the 2012 Pac-12 Championships, finishing 38th in the 100y fly (1:00.10), 49th in the 100y free (53.65) and 50th in the 50y free (24.24).

    HIGH SCHOOL: Heyliger prepped at Bermuda High School and has been a longtime member of the Bermuda National Swim Team (2005-present) ... Her high school team's captain, she was named the Bermuda Outstanding Teen in Sports in 2010 and the Sports R Us Athlete of the Year in 2008 and 2009 ... She was on her school's Honor Roll from 2007-2010 ... Represented Bermuda at the CARIFTA Aquatics Championships and was a team captain in 2010 ... Has competed at the Junior Pan-Pacs.

    CLUB/COACH: Sharks Swim Club/Ben Smith.

    PERSONAL: She was born on Nov. 24, 1992 ... She has earned her undergraduate degree in international relations (global business) and is working toward a master's in public diplomacy and hopes to work for the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in embassies throughout the world.
