Trojan Diving Invitational Set For This Weekend
Senior Victoria Ishimatsu will lead USC in the 10-team event.
THIS SEASON: A 2012 freshman, Celia Pinczower is a well-rounded diver who can provide solid scoring at dual meets as well as at the conference level, particularly on platform.
HIGH SCHOOL: Pinczower prepped at The Overlake School in Redmond, Wash. She competed on the high school level for Juanita High and was a four-year state championship finalist, winning titles as a junior and a senior and taking third as a sophomore. She also earned prep All-American honors as a junior and a senior ... She was sixth on 3-meter and eighth on 1-meter at the 2009 AAU Nationals ... She was a 2010 USA zone and national qualifier.
CLUB/COACH: Pacific Northwest Diving/Jim Southerland.
PERSONAL: She was born on May 27, 1993, and plan s to study business administration ... Her cousin, Amanda Fink, was an All-American tennis player at USC, graduating in 2009. Her father, Eric, spent his residency at USC in head and neck surgery while her grandfather, Henry Pinczower, has a Master's in Engineering.
