THIS SEASON: A 2011 redshirt junior, Christine Petrilli has been a solid diver for Hongping Li's diving corps, providing key depth for the Trojans.
2010: Petrilli competed in both springboard events at the 2010 Pac-10 Championships, taking 18th in the 1-meter (193.90) and the 3-meter (202.35) ... She earned Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention honors.
2009: Petrilli missed the 2009 season while recovering from a neck injury.
2008: As a 2008 freshman, Petrilli tied for third in both the platform (259.50) and 1-meter springboard (271.85) at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships. She also was 18th on 3-meter (240.60) ... She finished third on platform at the 2008 Zone E Championships, barely missing out on qualifying for the NCAA Championships. She also competed in the 1- and 3-meter springboard ... At the 2008 U.S. Spring Nationals, Petrilli was 23rd on platform.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-time prep All-American at Calvary Chapel in Santa Ana, Calif., she was the 2006 CIF Division II Southern Section Diving champion and her school's 2006 Junior Women's Athlete of the Year ... She was the Mission Viejo Nadadores Diver of the Year in 2006 and 2007 and its most improved diver in 2005. She was also the SPA Senior Diver of the Year in 2006 ... In 2007, she was the 2007 Spring Region 9 champion on 1- and 3-meter ... At the 2007 Speedo USA Diving Spring Nationals, she was a finalist on platform and a semifinalist on 1-meter ... At the 2007 Speedo Junior National Championships, she was third on platform in the 16-18 age group ... Was on Honor Roll each year in high school and earned the Principal Award each year as well.
