    Volunteer Assistant Coach (2nd Year)

    Michael Wong, a former collegiate swimmer with three years of collegiate coaching under his belt, is in his first year as a volunteer swim coach at USC.

    Wong served as the interim head coach at Pomona-Pitzer in 2010-11, directing one swimmer to All-American honors and helping the Sagehens break five school records. He served as an assistant coach at Pomona-Pitzer in 2009-10.

    Wong served as head coach at Claremont High in 2010, helping the school to a league title. The year before (2008-09), he worked as an assistant coach at Pasadena City College.

    Wong swam at Occidental College, where he graduated in 2009 with a degree in American studies and a minor in education. He is currently pursing a Masters of Physical Education at Azusa Pacific.
