THIS SEASON: Sophie Gosper, a 2009 sophomore from Melbourne, Australia, was an oft-used contributor in the sprint free in her first year on the Trojans and hopes to expand her role in her second season.
2008: Gosper competed in two events at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships as a freshman, swimming to 40th in the 50y free (24.18) and 55th in the 200y free (1:55.81).
HIGH SCHOOL: Gosper prepped at St. Catherine's School in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia where she competed as a swimmer and in track ... She received her school's Light Blue Award for Athletic Excellence in Swimming as a senior ... She was part of a third-place 200m free relay at the Age National Championships ...
