THIS SEASON: Bree Deters, a 2005 sophomore, is a steady contributor for the Trojans and looks to become a point-scorer in the 100y and 200y fly at dual meets and at the Pac-10 Championships in her second year with the team.
2005: For the second consecutive season, Deters competed in three races at the Pac-10 Championships, taking 34th in the 200y fly (2:09.00), 35th in the 100y fly (58.19) and 53rd in the 50y free (25.66).
2004: Deters competed in three events at the 2004 Pac-10 Championships, taking 26th in the 200y fly (2:08.16), 27th in the 100y fly (57.62) and 49th in the 50y free (25.69).
HIGH SCHOOL: Deters prepped at Laguna Hills (Calif.) High, where she earned All-American honorable mention honors as a freshman and a sophomore in the fly and was also a two-time varsity captain ... She was on Honor Roll and a member of CSF all four years in high school and served as commissioner of community service at her school. She was also a Rotary Youth Leadership Award Recipient.
PERSONAL: She was born on Feb. 22, 1985 ... She plans to major in kinesiology.
