THIS SEASON: DeMond, a 2008 sophomore, returns as one of USC's top springboard divers.
2007: DeMond, as a 2007 freshman was USC's top finisher in the springboard events at the 2007 Pac-10 Championships. She was seventh on 1-meter (249.10) and 12th on 3-meter (228.85) ... At the Trojan Diving Invitational, she was sixth on 3-meter. DeMond also saw some dual-meet action.
HIGH SCHOOL: DeMond prepped at Winston Churchill High in Potomac, Md. ... She was a three-time prep All American from 2004-2006 ... She won the Washington Metropolitan Swimming and Diving Championships in both her junior and senior seasons and the Montgomery County Diving Championships as a senior.
