    THIS SEASON: Jordan Danny, a 2013 senior, has consistently improved as a breaststroker during her tenure as a Trojan and seems primed to break through to her first NCAA Championships. She is coming off a pair of conference final appearances and should build on her strong junior year.

    2012: Danny was a two-time Pac-12 Championships finalist as a 2012 junior, posting career best efforts with a fifth-place in the 200-yard breast (2:11.39) and an eighth in the 100y breast (1:01.68). She was also 21st in the 200y IM (2:01.78). Both times were solid NCAA `B' cuts but just off the necessary times to make the NCAA Championships field ... At the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials, Danny was 51st in the 200m breast and tied for 74th in the 100m breast ... At the 2012 U.S. Winter Nationals, she was a `B' finalist in the 200y breast, finishing fourth, and a `C' finalist in the 400y IM, taking second.

    2011: For the second year in a row, Danny raced in three Pac-10 individual events as a 2011 sophomore, taking 16th in the 100y breast (1:03.54), 18th in the 200y breast (2:15.71) and 35th in the 200y IM (2:05.91). Her top time of the year in the 100y breast (1:02.17) and 200y breast (2:13.84) were both NCAA `B' cuts.

    2010: Danny competed in three events at the 2010 Pac-10 Championships as a freshman, taking 10th in the 200y breast (2:13.84), 11th in the 100y breast (1:02.53) and 30th in the 200y IM (2:03.22) ... She finished with USC's top time of the season in the 100y breast (1:02.10), which she registered in Troy's win over UCLA.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Danny, a four-year high school All-American, prepped at Hart High in Newhall, Calif., where she was a CIF-SS champion in the 100y breast and a finalist in the 200y IM in both 2008 (Division II) and 2009 (Division I) ... She competed at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials, where she was 39th in the 100m breast and 19th in the 200m breast ... At the 2009 U.S. World Championship Trials, Danny was eighth in the `B' final of the 200m breast (2:35.13) and was 29th in the 100m breast (1:11.95) ... Member of the 2009 U.S. National Junior Team ... She was both the Newhall Signal's Swimmer of the Year and L.A. Daily News first team three times (2007-09) ... She was also a three-time Scholastic All-American (2007-09).
