    THIS SEASON: Lexie Malazdrewicz is a 2017 senior who is redshirting this season.

    2016: Malazdrewicz competed for the University of Denver as a 2016 junior and was one of their top freestylers and backstrokers. She took second in the 200y back at the 2016 Summit League Championships and helped her team to a league title.

    2015: Malazdrewicz was injured during her 2015 sophomore season and did not see any racing.

    2014: Malazdrewicz raced in two events at the 2014 NCAA Championships, tying for 39th in the 200y free (1:47.47) and finishing 43rd in the 100y back (1:56.53) ... At the 2014 Pac-12 Championships, she was 11th in the 200y back (1:55.25), 14th in the 200y free (1:46.71) and 34th in the 500y free (4:53.74).

    HIGH SCHOOL: Malazdrewicz, who prepped at Evergreen (Colo.) High, was a 2011 U.S. Junior National runner-up in the 200m free and has won five state titles, including two each in the 200y and 500y free. She was a 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials semifinalist in the 200m back and was less than a second away from making the final. She was tabbed the 2012 Canyon Courier Athlete of the Year.

    PERSONAL: Malazdrewicz was born on April 22, 1995. She is studying business administration.
