    As a graduate student, Zoë Nightingale enters her senior season with the Women of Troy.

    2013-15 (UCLA BEACH)
    Nightingale was 24-39 overall with three different partners over the course of three seasons at UCLA… as a senior in 2015, went 13-11 with Kamila Tan and was invited to participate in the 2015 AVCA Pairs Championship pool competition… went 1-3 in pool play… teamed with Maddie Smith in 2014 and completed the year with a 3-14 overall record… partnered with Becca Strehlow in 2013 and finished the year 6-14 during UCLA’s inaugural beach season… chosen to play in the AVCA Pairs Championship with Strehlow.

    Nightingale won the 2011 NCAA Championship as a freshman middle blocker for the Bruins… had eight kills and 11 blocks in the championship match and was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team… named to the 2011 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team… a three-time (2012-14) Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention selection and a Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention as a sophomore (2012)… completed her career with 122 match appearances, 550 kills (1.33 kps), a .289 hitting percentage, 15 service aces, and 445 blocks (1.08 bps).

    Nightingale was a four-year letterwinner at St. Francis High School in Sacramento, Calif., for head coach Alynn Wright… named the Sacramento Bee Player of the Year as a senior… ranked 19th on the PrepVolleyball’s Senior Aces list… three-time Delta River League MVP, All-Metro First Team, and All-City First Team (2008-10)… two-time All-CIF First Team (2009-10)… named 2011 Sacramento Female Athlete of the Year… named an All-American by, AVCA Under Armour, MaxPreps, and ESPN Rise… had 1,236 kills and 1,146 digs in her four years at St. Francis… helped the Troubadours to four straight undefeated season and league titles, a Division II Section championship as a junior and a Division I second-place finish as a senior… led St. Francis in kills (423), blocks (88), and digs (360) as a senior and was first in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section in blocks with 109 and digs with 428 as a junior (fourth with 415 kills)… played for Force Volleyball Club and participated in Junior Nationals from 2006-11.

    Zoë Anne Nightingale was born on June 8, 1993, in Sacramento, Calif.… parents are Jeff and Cheryl Nightingale… has one younger sister Noa… holds a degree in sociology from UCLA and is working on a masters degree in strategic public relations.
