    The Women of Troy face Pacific in their first road dual match of the season.

    Sand 2013: Burnham returns as one of USC's most-experienced sand players as a sophomore in 2013.

    Sand 2012: After spending 2 years on USC's indoor team, Burnham competed on the sand as a sophomore in 2012...She and Kelly Irvin played in the No. 3 and then No. 2 pairs spots, posting a 22-14 record...The duo advanced to the quarterfinals of the first AVCA Collegiate Sand Volleyball Championship...In the summer of 2012, she worked with the USA Beach National Training Team, as well as finished seventh (quarterfinals) in a pair of NORCECA events (with Sara Hughes in Chula Vista and Stevi Robinson in Aruba), 17th with Jace Pardon at the FIVB Beach Volleyball Junior (U-21) World Championship in Halifax, Nov Scotia, Canada, and tied for 33rd with Pardon at the Jose Cuervo Manhattan Beach Open.

    Indoor 2011: Burnham recorded 72 kills (1.71 kps) while appearing in 20 matches (starting 7) as a 2011 sophomore outside hitter...She hit hitting .259 with 65 digs (1.55 dps) and 81.5 points (1.94 pps).

    Indoor 2010: She made four starts in 20 matches as a 2010 freshman...she recorded 38 kills (1.03 kps), seven assists (0.19 aps), two service aces (0.05 saps), 38 digs (1.03 dps), three blocks (0.08 bps) and 42.5 points (1.15 pps).

    High School/Club: She was a two-year varsity letterwinner at Newport Harbor High in Newport Beach, Calif...was a 2010 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection, along with earning All-America honors by Prep Volleyball...played on the 2010 United States U19 Beach training team...was the team captain for the Newport Harbor squad that won the 2009 CIF-SS Division 1-AA championship...earned 2009 All-CIF Southern Section first team honors as a senior...named Most Valuable Player in the 2009 CIF Division I state championship match...named to the 2009 Orange County Register All-County team and the Orange Coast Daily Pilot Dream Team in 2008 and 2009...played club volleyball for the Orange County Volleyball Club...her club team placed first in the Mideast Qualifier for the 2010 Junior Olympics and won the 16-1 championship squad at the 2008 Reno Volleyball Festival after finishing second at the 2006 Volleyball Festival...spent three years on the track team, competing in the hurdles and long jump events...member of the honor roll in four semesters at Newport Harbor as well as a member of the 4.0 GPA honor roll as a junior.

    Personal: She was born on Feb. 6, 1992...both of her parents and grandparents are USC graduates...her grandfather, Robert Morton, played on the USC men's basketball team in 1951 and 1952...lists former USC women's volleyball player April Ross, who also graduated from Newport Harbor High, as her biggest sports hero...member of the National Charity League, where she completes 50-100 hours of community service a year...she created her own neighborhood food drive in her community while she was in high school...she is a communications major at USC with a B average (3.06 GPA).
