Levin and Prudhomme Earn Pac-12 Weekly Honors |

SAN FRANCISCO – The No. 5 Trojans racked up the Pac-12 honors this week, as Savannah Levin was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week and Sammy Jo Prudhomme was named Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week.
Levin helped the Trojans to their ninth shutout of the season as they defeated Arizona State 2-0 on the road this past Saturday. However, the Newport Coast, Calif., native added to the offensive side of the game as well, taking the ball at midfield and weaving through multiple defenders before firing a shot from the top of the box that was finished top shelf for her first goal of the season. The score came in the 58th minute of the match, giving the Trojans a bit of a cushion with a 2-0 lead. The honor is the first of Levin’s career.
Senior goalkeeper Prudhomme earned her third Goalkeeper of the Week honor after tallying her eighth shutout of the season in the 2-0 victory over Arizona State. She made three total saves as the defense held the Sun Devils to just nine shots on the day. Overall the honor is her fourth career weekly honor.
The Trojans are set to host Washington State at 2 p.m. PT on Thursday, Oct. 20 and Washington at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23.
