After a 2-0 weekend at the Notre Dame Invitational, including a 2-1 win over No. 10 Notre Dame, USC women's soccer racked up the conference honors this week, as junior outside back Reilly Parker earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors and senior Caroline Stanley was named Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week. Both are earning their first Pac-12 weekly honors of their careers.

On Friday against Iowa State, Parker helped the Women of Troy fight out of an early 1-0 hole to defeat the Cyclones 3-1 in game one of the invitational. Parker chipped in with her first goal as a Trojan, putting the game out of reach in the 85th minute. Parker finished off a shot from 10 yards out on the left flank, after the Women of Troy knocked the ball around from Megan Borman to Sydney Sladek.

Then in the Women of Troy's biggest test of the season, Parker connected on the eventual game-winning goal against tournament host and No. 10-ranked Notre Dame. In a game that was a tale of two different halves, the Women of Troy fought back from a 1-0 deficit to knot two goals in the second half. With the score tied 1-1, Parker came through in the 72nd minute with her second goal in as many games. Teammate Tamara Mejia made a nice run down the right side, beat her defender and delivered a cross to Parker who was waiting back post for the one-touch finish.

Between the pipes, senior goalkeeper Stanley earned her first Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week honor. A native of Kansas City, Mo., Stanley tallied seven saves over two wins at the Notre Dame Invitational. After Iowa State scored in the third minute of the match, Stanley put up a clean sheet through the final 87 minutes of the match, keeping the Women of Troy in the game. She tallied three saves in the victory.

On Sunday against host Notre Dame, Stanley collected four saves, three coming in the first half as she worked to keep the game close at 1-0. In the second half, the Women of Troy were much more offensive minded, outshooting the Irish 8-7. Stanley's only save in the second half was her biggest one, coming on a penalty kick to in the 74th minute. Her incredible save preserved the team's 2-1 victory.

The last Trojan to win Player of the Week was Elizabeth Eddy in 2013. Prior to that the last time a Trojan took home the honor was in 2010. The last time a goalkeeper won a weekly honor for USC was Kristin Olsen, who won Player of the Week (there was no Goalkeeper of the Week honor at the time) four times during her career, last coming Sept. 29, 2009.

The Women of Troy are scheduled for their home opener on Friday, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m. as they take on UC Riverside. The game will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks.
