LOS ANGELES - The No. 15 USC Women's Soccer team scored a program-high nine goals in a 9-0 defeat of visiting Arkansas-Pine Bluff at McAlister Field on Friday afternoon.

Seniors Heather Davis and Jessica Musmanno, juniors Natalie Donaldson and Dana Schwartz and freshmen Noel Askins and Allie Bruder all collected their first career goals in the match. On the game, head coach Keidane McAlpine said, "Today was a great game and I thought we started really well. A lot of players contributed and i thought it was an all-around strong team performance. I am really happy for all the players who got their first goals as Trojans."

The Women of Troy are eight games into the season, and with an undefeated record of 6-0-2, this is the deepest any USC squad has ever made it into the season undefeated. Prior to this season, the program record was 5-0-0 to start the 2000 season, before losing their sixth game.

All four Women of Troy goalkeepers saw action in the game, with junior Faith Sugerman tallying the team's two saves.

The Women of Troy tallied three quick goals in the span of two-and-a-half minutes to take a 3-0 lead in the early goings of the match. Donaldson got on the board first for the Women of Troy in the seventh minute of the match, finishing a cross from the right side delivered by Reilly Parker to the upper right corner. Less than a minute later, Fink finished inside the box on a feed from Megan Borman. Johnson was next to get in on the action, making a nice move to beat her defender and slotting the ball in the right corner.

Schwartz found the back of the net for the first time in her career in the 20th minute, as Tamara Mejia tallied the assist to put the Women up 5-0.

Freshman Bruder made her mark in the match in the 21st minute, working with Quincey on a give-and-go in the 18-yard box that Quincey finished. Two minutes later, Bruder added to her assist with her first collegiate goal, finishing the cross from Askins with one touch.

Musmanno got on the board right before halftime in the 39th minute, as Davis fed her with a pass from the center that she finished in the lower left corner to put the team up 8-0 heading into the half.

Davis finally got on the receiving end for a goal in the 62nd minute, as Askins tallied her second assist of the game as she sent a cross into the box from the right side that Davis touched into the goal.

Overall five different Trojans made their season debut in the Cardinal and Gold, with three making their collegiate debuts.

The team finished with 27 shots, while the Lions (1-7) had four shots and their goalkeeper Brittany Roberts made nine saves.

The Women of Troy will be back in action on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 3:30 p.m. as they host No. 12 Pepperdine in their final nonconference tilt of the season. The game will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks.
