Erica Vangsness enters her first season at USC.
AT PIERCE COLLEGE: Vangsness was named 2010 Conference Player of the Year and was a two-time all-conference first team pick... Also named to all-region team in 2010... Scored 12 goals with five assists in her first season and 29 goals and 19 assists in her second season... An honor student.
HIGH SCHOOL: Vangsness was a four-year varsity player at University High in Los Angeles... Twice named team MVP... Played club for Galaxy Alliance... An honor student.
PERSONAL: Vangsness is majoring in business... Parents are Kristin Johnson and Tom Vangsness... Has three siblings, C.T., Kella and James... Her brother C.T. and cousin Michelle also attend USC, as did her uncle Eric... Enjoys listening to music, reading and hanging out with friends in her free time... Has always wanted to skydive, and hopes to travel to Santorini, Greece... Would like to travel after graduation... Born Sept. 6, 1990.
