    USC's highly respected #19 now transitions to the sidelines as a member of the USC coaching staff. A familiar face in the USC soccer program, Rosa Anna Tantillo is following up an outstanding playing career at Troy by serving as an undergraduate assistant coach for the Trojans while completing her degree in public policy and development in 2007.

    A four-year starting midfielder for the Women of Troy, Tantillo was the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year and went on to earn All-Pac-10 First Team honors the next three seasons. In the USC history books, she ranks second all-time in game-winning goals (12), third in assists (25) and shots (224), and fourth in goals (25) and points (75).

    2006 SENIOR SEASON AT USC
    Started 20 games and led team in goals (5) and assists (9) for 19 points on the year... Became the Trojans No. 2 leader in career game-winning goals with 12... Team-high nine assists ranks her No. 3 all-time with 25 career assists... Named to All-Pac-10 First Team for third straight season... Finished as the Pac-10's assists leader on the season and was sixth in the Pac-10 in points... A second team pick for the SoccerBuzz West Region.

    2005 JUNIOR SEASON
    Tantillo finshed as USC's second leading scorer with 19 points... Had 11 assists to rank No. 2 in the Pac-10 and scored four goals... Named to All-Pac-10 First Team and SoccerBuzz All-West Region Second Team... Tied USC match record with three assists during a 6-0 win over Indiana on Aug. 28... Had three game-winning goals, including both scores in a 2-1 comeback win over Oregon on Oct. 16... Other game-winners came against Indiana and in a 2-1 win over Washington on Oct. 21... Battled knee injury throughout the season, appearing in 20 games and starting 18.

    2004 SOPHOMORE SEASON
    Tantillo topped the USC charts in five offensive categories as a sophomore... She led the team in points (21), goals (9), game-winning goals (4), shots (63) and shots on goal (31)... Also ranked in the Pac-10 for points (sixth), goals (sixth), game-winning goals (fourth) and shots (fifth), as well as shots per game (3.32, third), points per game (1.11, sixth) and goals per game (0.47, fifth)... Named to All-Pac-10 first team... Moved up in USC career charts for points (37, ninth), goals (16, seventh), shots (123, ninth) and game-winning goals (7, fifth)... 63 single-season shots is the ninth most in school history... Had back-to-back, game-winning two-goal performances in wins over Rutgers (Sept. 5) and Mississippi State (Sept. 10)... Served up two assists in a win over San Diego (Sept. 19)... Scored back-to-back game-winners against Saint Mary's (Sept. 24) and UC Irvine (Sept. 26)... Never left the field for six games.

    2003 FRESHMAN SEASON
    Tantillo led the team in goals (7), points (16) and game-winning goals (3) as a freshman... Became the second player in USC history to earn Pac-10 Freshman of the Year honors... Registered two goals in a game twice (Aug. 31 in a 4-3 loss at No. 23 Florida; Sept. 26 in a 3-0 win at No. 18 Santa Clara)... Also had an assist against Santa Clara to notch a five-point game... Scored the first goal and eventual game-winner (penalty kick) on Nov. 9 in a 3-0 win at Oregon State.

    HIGH SCHOOL
    Tantillo earned All-CIF honors four years at La Jolla High... Played two years of club soccer with the Santa Anita Strikers, who won the 2002 State Cup and Surf Cup championships... Named Most Valuable Player of Surf Cup... Played seven years for FC Bratz under coaches Jerzy Shyndlar and Mike Ferrand... Played five years on the ODP state team and four years on the ODP regional team... Team captain for the 2002 ODP team that won the regional championship.
