    Stacey Strong enters her final season at USC as a versatile and speedy player able to both defend and distribute the ball for the Trojans.

    Strong moved from the midfield to the the USC back line after injuries took out a pair of Trojan defenders... Appeared in 21 games and earned 13 starts as a junior... Served up one assist on USC's second goal in a win over Oakland... Achieved academic honors with Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.

    Strong once again started all 21 of USC's games... She generated four points for the Trojans with a goal and two assists... Scored USC's first goal of 2006 with a score against UC Irvine on Aug. 27... Also delivered assist against Harvard on Sept. 3 and against UNLV on Sept. 17... Named to All-Pac-10 Second Team and earned Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.

    Strong was one of just two freshmen to start all 21 games for USC... Finished third on the team in scoring with 11 points and tied as the second leading scorer with four goals... Received SoccerBuzz Freshman All-America honorable mention and named to the SoccerBuzz West Region All-Freshman Team... Member of the Pac-10 All-Freshman Team... Took 25 shots on the year... Scored first career goal in a 3-0 win over Oakland on Sept. 18... Also scored the game-winner in a 3-0 win over LMU on Sept. 27... Other two goals came in a 2-1 loss to SMU (Sept. 23) and a 3-2 OT loss to UCLA (Oct. 7)... First career assist came on USC's fastest goal ever scored, as Strong had the opening assist on the 16-second goal... Also shared the OT game-winning assist against Arizona State on Nov. 4.

    Strong was invited to the U.S. Under-20 National Team Camp in January 2006.

    Strong was a three-sport athlete at Montgomery High in Santa Rosa, Calif., playing four years of soccer and one year of track and badminton... Named first team all-league and team MVP all four years.. Selected All-Redwood Empire MVP as a junior and senior and league MVP as a junior... Named Press Democrat Athlete of the Week in 2003... Team was North Bay League champs all four years and CIF North Coast Section champs her junior and senior seasons... Team went undefeated (45-0) in 2003 and 2004 to be ranked No. 1 in the nation... Played nine years with club team Santa Rosa United Storm and one year with Santa Rosa United Ice... Club teams won State Cup in 1999, 2000 and 2004 and won Far West Regional in 1999... Competed with the Cal North '86 state ODP team for a year.

    Strong is majoring in biological science... Parents are Jim and Bonnie... Has two brothers, Scott and Steve... Had a 4.0 GPA all four years in high school... Lists Kobe Bryant as her greatest sports hero... Favorite movie is `Gladiator' and favorite TV show is `Bones'... Birthdate is Sept. 29, 1986.
