    Shields was a three-time all-league first-team selection our of Woodside Priory School in Portola Valley, Calif.... Also named to San Jose Mercury News' All-County First Team as a senior... Team finished second in league play all four years and reach CIF semifinals in 2011 and 2012... Led team with 19 goals, 11 assists as a senior... Was second with 11 goals as a junior, and leader in assists with 12... Led team in assists as a sophomore with 15, and second on team with 11 goals... Played club for Alpine Strikers FC Pumas and Union FC... Top scorer for 2010 and 2011 Pumas.
