Ransom joined the team as a sophomore walk-on in 2009, appearing in two games.
HIGH SCHOOL
Ransom is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame High in Sherman Oaks, Calif.... A two-time all-league first team selection and 2005 second team pick... Earned All-CIF honorable mention all four years... A four-time all-league academic honoree... Played club for Crown City United and CRSC Infinity.
PERSONAL
Ransom is majoring in history... Parents are John and Peggy... Has one brother, John, and one sister, Lindy... Most thrilling sports moment was watching Rafael Nadal play live at the French Open... Enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, biking, hiking, tennis and going to the beach in her free time... Lists Lance Armstrong and Paula Radcliffe as her biggest sports heroes... Would like to someday travel to the Galapagos Islands, Ireland, Peru and Bali... Born Feb. 8, 1989.
