THIS SEASON: Pruett will be an anchor again in the middle of the Trojans' defense and should continue to improve as one of the top defenders in the West region.

2001: Started and played in 18 games as the team's central defender in her 2001 freshman season...earned All-Pac-10 honorable mention honors...recorded her lone assist of the season on Sept. 3 vs. Tennessee in a 1-0 victory in Provo, Utah.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played as a defender at La Costa Canyon High in Encinitas, Calif...member of the CIF Division I championship team in her senior and sophomore seasons...earned best defensive player honors in her junior season...also ran track in her freshman season, recording a personal-best time of 5:20 in the mile during the year...prep teammate of current Trojan Jenna Killion.

PERSONAL: Majoring in political science...enjoys going on vacation with her friends in her spare time...biggest sports heroes are Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal...born on Oct. 5, 1983.
