THIS SEASON: A valuable substitute last year for the Trojans, Prigmore will look to gain more playing time as a forward in the team's new system.
JIM MILLINDER SAYS: "Jennifer has the ability to score goals and is very good in the final third of the field. She has the ability to earn a starting spot up front, but it's going to very competitive this year. I hope she's ready because she has the ability to cause a lot of problems for opposing defenses."
1999: USC's "Super-Sub" as a 1999 freshman, Prigmore scored six goals and had two assists for a total of 14 points...played in 17 matches and only started once...several of her goals came immediately after she was inserted into the match...had two goals against Montana and a goal and an assist against UC Irvine...had an 88th-minute goal against then-No. 8 UConn that sent the game into overtime (USC ended up winning).
HIGH SCHOOL: Prigmore was twice named The Daily Oklahoman's Offensive Player of the Year while attending Norman North High...tied the state 5-A record with 38 goals as a senior and made the All-State team...scored 94 career goals and would have made a run at the state career record had she not missed most of her sophomore year with a knee injury...was a three-time All-City, All-District and All-Conference selection...helped Norman High to state titles as a freshman and sophomore, then transferred to Norman North and led the school to a state runner-up finish as a senior...her various club teams won five state championships...has been part of the Olympic Development Program since 1994 and was on the regional team in 1996-97.
PERSONAL: She lists one of her most thrilling moments as scoring two goals, including the game-winner, in the state championship game as a freshman at Norman High...favorite pastimes include drawing and music...her brother, Matt, played soccer at Rhodes College, and her father, Gene, played tennis at Northwestern Oklahoma State...birthdate is May 21, 1981.
