THIS SEASON: Miller, as a freshman midfielder, could see some playing time this season, but most likely will redshirt.
JIM MILLINDER SAYS: "Everything I have seen about Becky I like. She has a lot of technical ability and a lot of tactical savvy to her game. I think she can be a contributor, but this is a different level for freshmen. She has to come in determined to have success. Becky has a lot of things I like in a player."
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned All-Tri Valley League honors while at La Reina High in Thousand Oaks, Calif...named first-team all-league in her freshman season...recruited to play for GU19 Premier Club team as a 16-year-old...member of 2000 State Cup championship squad...also was the starting point guard on the varsity girls' basketball team in her junior year...earned a Presidential Scholar Award and was also a National Honors Society member...life member of the California Scholarship Federation.
PERSONAL: Plans to major in communications and focus on a career in broadcasting...enjoys snowboarding and going on houseboat trips in her spare time...chose USC because of the university's great reputation, strong academics and soccer program...born on March 7, 1982.
