THIS SEASON: Kakadelas is a top-notch forward. As one of the quickest players on the roster, she will help to take some of the offensive pressure off teammate Jessica Edwards.
JIM MILLINDER SAYS: "Megan has the ability to be one of the best strikers in the nation. She has speed and the ability to be a strong one-on-one player. She will fit into our system of play very well. Once she gets used to playing up front, her work ethic and ability will make her one of the top collegiate players."
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned CIF, North County Times, San Diego Union Tribune and Avocado League Player of the Year honors in her senior season at La Costa Canyon High in Carlsbad, Calif...during the summer, she played with the U-19 National Team...member of the CIF Division I championship squads in her senior and sophomore seasons...named most valuable player for her club team, the San Diego Surf...member of the Surf during its national championship season in 2000...named as an NSCAA U-17 All-American.
