    Johnson and Stanley Earn Pac-12 Player and Goalkeeper of the Week Honors

    Katie Johnson was named Player of the Week, while Caroline Stanley earned her second honor of the season.

    2014: Johnson played in 19 of 21 games, starting 16 of those...Finishhed tied for second with Fink with six goals...Added two assists, finished third with 14 points...Had two game-winning goals (vs. Iowa State, at Washington State)...The forward tallied 44 shots, 23 of those on goal.

    Johnson played in all 20 games for the Trojans, starting 15 of them...She scored five goals, tying her for second on the team...Three of her five goals came in a hat trick vs. Loyola Marymount (Sept. 15), the first by a Trojan since 2010...She also tallied goals vs. Cal State Northridge (Aug. 30) and Oregon (Nov. 1)...Took a team-high 48 shots...Earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.

    2012: Johnson played in all 19 games and started 15 as a freshman... Scored three goals and added one assist... First career goal was against Minnesota... Also scored twice vs. Portland... First career assist was vs. ASU.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Johnson was an All-American and a three-time all-league first-team selection out of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in La Canada, Calif.... Named league MVP as a senior... Also a two-time all-CIF first team honoree... Named league's Offensive Player of the Year in 2010... Team won 2011 CIF Southern Section DI championships and was league champions in 2009 and 2011... Scored 57 goals in her career... An All-Academic Team honoree 2009-11... Won 2011 ODP National Championship with Region IV team... Member of Under-18 National Team pool... Played club for Crown City United and Arsenal FC... Won 2010 National Cup title with Arsenal FC... An honor student.

    PERSONAL: Johnson is majoring in policy, planning and development and is interested in pursuing a career in business... Parents are Dennis and Esther... Has one sister, Isabelle, who also is on the USC soccer team... Lists winning the CIF championship as her most thrilling sports moment... Says Alex Morgan is her biggest sports hero...
