Taylor Hilgert

THIS SEASON: Taylor Hilgert enters her first season at USC.

HIGH SCHOOL: Hilgert was a four-year scholar athlete at Mater Dei High in Santa Ana, Calif... Named Freshman Offensive Player of the Year... An All-Orange County First Team selection in 2007-08 and Second Team pick in 2006 by the Orange County Register... Scored 22 goals and had 25 assists for Mater Dei... Won three league titles and the 06-07 CIF Division I championship with Mater Dei... Played club with Fullerton Rangers, Orange Junior Soccer Club and Whittier Soccer Club... An honor student also active in community service.

PERSONAL: Hilgert is majoring in biological sciences and hopes to pursue a career in forensics... Parents are Michael Hilgert and Lisa McDaniel... Has five sisters, Ashley, Mia, Brooke, Hailey and Holli... Lists Derek Fischer as her biggest sports hero... Favorite movie is `Dumb and Dumber'... Would like to travel around the world...
