THIS SEASON: Fodor is one of only two seniors on the roster and will be a valuable player coming off the bench.
JIM MILLINDER SAYS: "I hope Jackie has a good senior year. She is a goal scorer and usually those kind of players live or die by putting the ball in the net. I think it's a confidence factor with her. She has to believe in herself, but I expect she will have a good season to finish her career here."
2001: Fodor started in 13 of 19 games for her 2001 junior season...recorded goals in back-to-back games on Sept. 21 vs. UC Irvine and Sept. 23 vs. Oakland...recorded her lone assist of the season on Sept. 30 at Loyola Marymount...had a season-high three shots on Sept. 23 vs. Oakland.
2000: Played in 21 of 22 games during her 2000 sophomore season and started in seven games...scored the team's first goal on Nov. 8 in a 2-1 win against San Diego in the NCAA First Round match at the Coliseum...registered an assist in a 4-2 loss on Oct. 29 against Stanford...assisted on both goals on Sept. 17 in a 2-1 win against Central Florida.
1999: An excellent scoring threat as a 1999 freshman forward, Fodor scored three goals and added two assists for a total of eight points...took 13 shots...played 19 games and started six...scored two goals in her collegiate debut against UC Irvine and the other goal came against Washington State...her assists were against Montana and Oregon.
HIGH SCHOOL: The only player ever to earn three-time (1997-99) L.A. City Section Player of the Year honors, Fodor scored goals at an amazing rate for Chatsworth (Calif.) High...in her career, she had 110 goals, 73 assists and 293 points (setting school records in all three categories) and led Chatsworth to league and city titles all four years...led Chatsworth in goals all four years and had a career-best 35 as a senior...made the Daily News and Los Angeles Times' All-Area first teams all four years, as well as All-League honors...her team had a four-year record of 84-4-3...a scholar-athlete at Chatsworth, she was the school's 1999 Female Athlete of the Year...once had six goals and three assists in a league playoff game her junior year...her club team, the Las Virgenes Blazers, made it to the national finals in 1997...was on the Olympic Development Program's regional team from 1996-98.
PERSONAL: Majoring in communications...favorite athlete is former NHL great Wayne Gretzky...parents are Vic and Mira...her sister, Jenna, is a freshman on the Pepperdine women's soccer team...enjoys dancing in her spare time...her birthdate is March 12, 1981.
