    USC Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Accolades

    The Trojans earn repeat honors for their academic achievements through the 2012 season.

    THIS SEASON
    Elizabeth Eddy enters her third season at USC as a sneaky and skilled striker for the Trojans.

    2011
    Eddy was USC's top goal-scorer as a sophomore with four goals, including two game-winners... Also added two assists to finish with 10 points on the year... Earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention... Also picked up Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention... First career game-winner was vs. Washington on Oct. 14... Next game-winning goal was vs. Arizona... Also scored vs. Pacific and Purdue, with assists at Portland and vs. ASU.

    2010
    Eddy was second on the team in scoring with five goals as a freshman... Also was second in points with 13, thanks to three assists on the year... Had a hat trick vs. Cal on Oct. 10, which was the first three-goal outing by a Trojan in a Pac-10 game since 1997... Assisted on the overtime game-winner vs. Gonzaga... Named to Pac-10 All-Freshman Team... Earned TopDrawerSoccer.com All-Rookie Honorable Mention.

    NATIONAL TEAMS
    Eddy is a member of the U.S. Under-20 National Team player pool... Won silver at the 2008 U-17 Women's World Cup as a member of the U.S. U-17 National Team... A member of the U-20 Women's National Team that won the 2010 CONCACAF Championship to qualify for the World Cup... Also trained with U-16 and U-18 teams.

    HIGH SCHOOL
    Eddy was named a 2009 and 2010 PARADE All-American out of Newport Harbor High in Newport Beach, Calif.... Named to ESPN RISE Winter All-America Team for California as a senior... Nominated for Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior and senior... Earned two all-league first-team honors... Also competed as a sprinter in track and was on the surf team.. Team won the state surf championship her senior year, and she was an individual state champion as a junior... Named Orange Coast League MVP in 2006 as a freshman after leading the league in goals (14) and assists (15)... Also a member of the sailing team, placing fifth in 2006 at the West Coast Regionals... Played club soccer for SoCal Blues, winning the 2007 National Championship and reaching three state cup finals... An honor student.

    Eddy is majoring in business... Parents are Park and Linda... Father Park played water polo at USC and was a member of the U.S. National Team.. He also sailed in the Americas Cup... Has three siblings, Parker, Clara and Hunter... Uncle Andy Eddy played football at USC in 1985... Great grandfather Arnold Eddy was a head administrator in the USC Athletic Department in the 1930s and early 1940s... Has always wanted to sail around the South Pacific and go sky diving... After graduation she hopes to play for the Olympic team... Her biggest sports heroes are Tim Tebow and Mia Hamm... Has worked as a surf instructor and as a youth group leader... Born Sept. 13, 1991.
