THIS SEASON: Callier will move from a forward to a midfielder in her final season with the Trojans. If she pushes herself, she can be a valuable player for the Women of Troy.
JIM MILLINDER SAYS: "Christy is good at holding the ball which will help her in the midfield. She is a key player for us and I think she wants to have an outstanding senior season."
2000: Started in 16 of 22 games in her 2000 junior season...scored a goal on Oct. 15 in a 5-2 win against Oregon State...registered a goal and an assist on Sept. 10 in a 3-0 victory against Vanderbilt...registered three assists on the season (Vanderbilt, Central Florida and California).
1999: After earning a starting position at forward early in the season, Callier made the most of her opportunity as a 1999 sophomore...scored three goals and had one assist for a total of seven points...scored two of her goals against Arizona and had the game-winning goal against Washington...her assist came against UC Irvine.
1998: Callier came on strong in the second half of her 1998 freshman season and started six matches at forward (and played in 14 games overall)...collected three assists (against Stanford, California and Oregon) and took five shots.
HIGH SCHOOL: Made the 1998 All-CIF San Diego Section first team as a senior at University City High in San Diego, Calif...was a two-time All-Western League first teamer and made the second team as a sophomore...played four years on the varsity...was the team MVP as a senior and a sophomore and was also the school's Female Athlete of the Year in 1998...also played field hockey (she was the team MVP as a senior) and softball...among the club teams that she has played for are the Nomads, Surf, Villa and Bratz...played for Under-16 and Under-17 Olympic Development Program teams at the district level.
PERSONAL: She enjoys snowboarding...her birthdate is June 24, 1980.
