    THIS SEASON: Boynton returns to the 2005 USC squad after taking time off, and will compete for playing time as a junior.

    2003 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Boynton played backup to starting goalkeeper Julie Peterson.

    2002 FRESHMAN SEASON: Boynton played in three matches and made two starts in her 2002 freshman season... Registered her first collegiate shutout in her first appearance on Nov. 3 in a 1-0 overtime win against Oregon.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Boynton earned all-state and team MVP honors in her 2001 senior season at Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis, Minn... Named 2001 all-state honorable mention by the St. Paul Pioneer Press and also earned all-conference honors... Registered a 57-16-7 record in a four-year varsity career... Member of the state A championship team in her 1998 freshman season... Member of the 1999 and 2001 ODP state teams... Club team won the 2002 Snickers Cup... Graduated with honors... Member of the honor roll four years.

    PERSONAL: Boynton is majoring in communications and plans to attend graduate school... Parents are Mel and Beth... Her younger brother, Ben, is a goalkeeper for Ohio Wesleyan University... Lists 'Desperate Housewives' as her favorite TV show and 'Gigli' as her favorite movie... Birthdate is Dec. 27, 1983.
