    THIS SEASON: Blais should be a starter in the midfield and gives the Women of Troy a consistent player on the field.

    2002: In her 2002 sophomore season, Blais assumed the role as a starting midfielder and made 18 starts in 21 matches...registered her lone assist of the season on Sept. 29 in a 2-1 win at UC Irvine...registered a season-high three shots on Oct. 20 in a 2-1 win at Arizona.

    2001: After a solid preseason, Blais earned a spot in the lineup with 13 starts in her 2001 freshman season...made 11 straight starts from Oct. 7 to Nov. 16...recorded her lone goal of the season on Oct. 14 vs. Arizona in a 2-0 win...had three assists on the season (Oct. 28 at Oregon, Oct. 20 at UCLA and Sept. 30 at Loyola Marymount).

    HIGH SCHOOL: Earned third team All-CIF honors in her junior season at Mira Costa High in Manhattan Beach, Calif...earned All-Bay League first team honors in her senior season, as well as being named Daily Breeze Student of the Month...also earned All-Bay League second team honors in her junior season.

    PERSONAL: Made a miraculous recovery from bacterial meningitis in May 2001...spent a week in intensive care after the near-death experience...majoring in communications...parents are Chuck and Judy...enjoys shopping, traveling and going to the beach in her spare time...lists Brandi Chastain as her biggest sports hero...lists The Osbournes as her favorite TV show...lists The Big Lebowski as her favorite movie...born on Oct. 13, 1983.
