    USC Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Accolades

    The Trojans earn repeat honors for their academic achievements through the 2012 season.

    THIS SEASON
    Autumn Altamirano enters her junior season at USC as an extremely versatile impact player and proven goal-scorer for the Women of Troy.

    2011
    Altamirano assumed a new role on the back line for the Trojans following injuries to teammates... Started all 20 games for the Trojans... Scored one goal against Texas on Sept. 11... Earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention.

    2010
    Altamirano appeared in all 22 games and started five as a freshman... Was second on the team with five goals, also adding two assists to rank third on the team with 12 points in the season... Had two game-winning goals, first in overtime at Gonzaga and another in the 86th minute vs. UCLA... Her first career goal was vs. Oklahoma, when she also assisted on the game-winner.

    HIGH SCHOOL
    Altamirano earned All-CIF First Team honors as a senior at Arnold O. Beckman High in Irvine, Calif.... A three-time all-league first-teamer, earned all-country second team honors as a senior... Team reached 2010 CIF section and regional finals... Named to ESPN RISE Winter All-America Team for California as a senior... Named U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete and earned Spirit of Victory and CIF Pursuing Victory with Honor awards in 2010... Selected to all-league second team as a freshman and a finalist for Rookie of the Year... Played club for Arsenal and CRSC Infinity... Also selected for 1992 ODP pool... An honor student and scholar athlete.
