    THIS SEASON: Abbamonto will be a much-needed leader in the midfield as a two-time All-Pac-10 selection.

    2002: Made 16 starts in her 2002 junior season before suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee in the Nov. 1 game against Oregon State...earned All-Pac-10 second team honors...scored the game-winner on Sept. 6 against No. 5 Penn State at the UCLA Women's Cup...scored the game-tying goal in the final minutes of regulation on Oct. 4 vs. Loyola Marymount in a 2-2 tie, recording a season-high seven shots...had five shots in back-to-back matches on Oct. 13 vs. California and Oct. 18 at Arizona State.

    2001: Started in every match during her 2001 sophomore season...earned All-Pac-10 second team honors...recorded three goals on the season, including two game-winning goals...scored the lone goal on Oct. 28 in a 1-0 win at Oregon...registered the game-winner on Sept. 30 at Loyola Marymount in the Women of Troy's 3-0 victory...scored USC's only goal in a 1-1 tie on Nov. 9 at Stanford...recorded four shots in a game three times (Oct. 28 at Oregon, Sept. 30 at Loyola Marymount and Aug. 31 at BYU).

    2000: Abbamonto had an outstanding 2000 freshman campaign...played in every match, starting in 18 out of 22 as a central midfielder...registered her first career goal, the game-winner, on Aug. 27 at UC Irvine (2-0)...had a four-game point scoring streak from Sept. 8-17 (2-2=6)...recorded her second game-winning goal of the season on Sept. 17 against Central Florida in Gainesville, Fla. (2-1).

    HIGH SCHOOL: Led Capistrano Valley High in Mission Viejo, Calif., to the 2000 CIF Southern Section Division I championship...tied for the team scoring lead with 15 goals and added six assists...named Orange County Register and Los Angeles Times Player of the Year for the 2000 season...also earned All-South Coast League, CIF Most Valuable Defensive player and All-Orange County honors...prep teammate of current Trojan Ashley Casas...earned team most valuable player honors in 1999 and 2000.
