Lenka Vrecnikova, a Czech U23 national team member, is a senior starboard for the Women of Troy who has had a very successful first three years with the program...In 2011, Vrecnikova earned CRCA Pocock All-America 2nd Team honors after rowing out of the sixth seat in every race for the Varsity Eight...She helped USC to a fifth place finish at he NCAA Championships and a third place finish at the Pac-10 Championsips...Vrecnikova was a key contributor in the teams title win in the Jessop-Whittier Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic in addition to wins over Clemson, Michigan State, Virginia and UCLA...She excelled in the classroom earning CRCA Scholar Athlete and Pac-10 All-Academic horors...in 2010, Vrecnikova was c consistent presence in the sixth seat for the First Varsity Eight helping the Trojans to a fourth place finish at the Pac-10 Championships and a eighth place finish at the NCAA Championships...She helped power USC to first place finishes at the Head of the American and Ohio State as well as wins over Notre Dame, Clemson and UCLA...in 2009: Vrecnikova was a versatile rower who saw time in a variety of boats. At the 2009 NCAA Championships, she helped the Second Varsity Eight to ninth place overall in the four seat. She rowed in the second seat of the Varsity Four at the 2009 Pac-10 Championships (second place), in USC's win over UCLA and at the Charles River Challenge...She rowed in the four seat in the JV Eight at the San Diego Crew Classic, helping USC to fourth, was in the same seat in the Second Varsity Eight against LMU and rowed with the Varsity Eight "A" boat at the Head of the American.
Vrecnikova is a member of the Czech National Team... At the 2009 U23 World Championships, she finished 10th in the fours ...at the 2009 Czech National Senior Championships, she was first in the fours, third in single scull and third in quadruple scull... finished third in the single and double scull and first in quadruple scull at the 2008 National Senior Championships and the U23 National Championships...also finished third at the 2007 National Senior Championship in long distance single scull and second in double and quadruple scull...in the 2006 National Junior Championship finished third in double and quadruple scull...2006 National Senior Champion in quadruple scull and second in double scull...participated in Junior World Championships in 2006 and the International Regatta in Munich.
