    Kate McFetridge Wins Silver at Pan Am Games

    Former Trojan rowing captain wins silver in women's single sculls at 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto

    At USC
    Kate McFetridge, a senior port and a co-captain, is in her third season on the varsity squad after being a key contributor the last two seasons...in 2010, Mcfedtridge rowed for both the Varsity Four and the Second Varsity Eight...helped USC to a fourth place finish at the Pac-10 Championships and a eighth place finish at the NCAA Championships...Rowed in the third seat for the Varsity Four in wins at Ohio State, SoCal Challenge and the UCLA Dual...in 2009: As a 2009 sophomore, McFetridge rowed the four position with the Varsity Eight "A1" boat at the Head of the American.

    Rowing Highlights
    McFetridge is a two-year member of the Uridine Barge Club (2008-09), where she is a member of the summer racing squad. She raced in the 2009 and 2010 Independence Day Regatta in single, double and quads...Competed in the 2009 and 2010... Club Nationals and Canadian Henley in single and double...Represented USC at the 2009 ID Camp in November in San Francisco with hopes of rowing on the U23 team...Placed first at the 2010 Schuykill Navy Regatta in the intermediate quad...Rowed in the 2010 U23 trials in Mercer, N.J. finishing in second place.

    Katherine Marie McFetridge was born in Washington Township, N.J...graduated from West Deptford High School in 2007...played basketball for four years...named the team's most valuable player in 2005 and 2007...first team all-conference in 2006...second team All-South Jersey in 2007...also played field hockey for three years and was all-conference in 2005 and 2006...majoring in health promotion and disease prevention...wants to go to medical school and become a doctor.
