    Lindsay Gibson enters her first year with the Women of Troy and can row from either the port or starboard side of the boat.

    Gibson rowed for the Atlanta Junior Rowing Association for three years and was a member of the Pittsford Crew (New York) for two years. She was the 2012 AJRA Erg Sprints champion and was a 2009 Erg Sprints champion at Pittsford. She is the AJRA's record holder in both the 2K (7:12.00) and the 5K (1:54 split). Gibson was a member of the US Junior National Team in 2010. She was invited to the selection camp as a sophomore and made the High Performance Team that traveled to Germany to race the German National Team. Gibson helped her crew qualify for the 2010 US Rowing Youth National Championships. She also played basketball at Roswell HS as a forward where her team won the Region 6-AAAAA championship in 2011. Gibson was a three-time member of the Roswell HS Honor Roll (2010-12).

    Lindsay Gibson was born on Aug. 5, 1993, in San Francisco, Calif.... parents are Cliff and Karen Gibson... father Cliff Gibson played linebacker at Oregon (1980-82)... has one sister named Kaelyn Gibson (22) who was a starboard rower for University of Tennessee... enjoys hiking and camping... undeclared major.
