    Kate Kaso rowed three seasons in the USC rowing program... Rowed with the JV Eight and Varsity Fours during the 2004 season... Helped lead JV crew to a fourth-place finish at Pac-10s in the No. 6 seat... Named to the 2004 Pac-10 All-Academic first team... A 2004 Marks Scholar-Athlete... A 2003 team captain... Rowed with the JV Eight in 2003 in the No. 8 seat... Crew finished sixth at Pac-10 Championships... A 2003 Marks Scholar-Athlete... Rowed with the JV Eight in 2002 at stroke...     During the summer of 2003, Kaso captured a silver medal at the U.S. Rowing Club Nationals (Camden, N.J.) in Lightweight Eights and earned a sixth-place finish at the Canadian Henley in Lightweight doubles with USC teammate Brenda Bower... She also trained at the Wisconsin Lightweight Women's Olympic Development Camp.

Her varsity four squad won gold medals at the 2000 Newport Autumn Rowing Festival and 2000 Head of the Estuary... She won bronze medals with the varsity eight at the California Junior Championships in 1999 and with the novice eight in 1998... Novice squad won a gold medal at the 1998 California Novice Regatta... Also rowed with the Southwest Junior National Development team in 1999 and 2000 at the four seat... Team won gold at the 2000 Syracuse Club Nationals and silver at the 2000 Junior Eight Open...
