Kajsa Olsson enters her third year with the Trojans and will row from the starboard side.
As a sophomore, Olsson rowed from the seven seat with the second varsity eight and helped her crew to a sixth-place finish in the grand final for the Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Trophy at the San Diego Crew Classic. She moved to the five seat as the Trojans defeated Princeton, Yale, Michigan State, and Notre Dame. Olsson switched to the fourth seat for the Pac-12 Championships where the Trojans took sixth (fifth place as a team) and stayed in the four spot for the NCAA Championships to help USC claim a first-place finish in the petite final.
As a freshman, Olsson was a fixture in the second varsity eight boat and appeared in every spring race. From the four seat, she helped the 2V8 to a third-place finish in the grand final for the Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Trophy at the San Diego Crew Classic. In the stroke seat, her boat defeated Clemson in a head-to-head race. Olsson moved to the six seat for the remainder of the year and helped USC defeat UCLA in the annual dual. She then helped the Trojans' 2V8 boat to a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships and a third-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships.
Olsson rowed for the Swedish U23 Team in the summer of 2010 and was part of the Swedish Junior National Team in 2009 that finished third in the Nordic Championships.
