    The USC women's rowing 2V8 won a close race with Virginia while the V8 and V4 were edged by the Cavaliers

    Jelena Miladinovic enters her third year with the Trojans and will row from the starboard side.

    As a sophomore, Miladinovic rowed from the bow seat of the varsity four for the first half of the spring season, and moved to the third seat in the second varsity eight after the UCLA dual. She helped the varsity four to its fifth-place finish in the grand final for the Karen Plumleigh Cortney Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic and to wins over Michigan and UCLA in head-to-head races. With the 2V8 boat, she helped the Trojans to a sixth-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships (fifth in the team standings) and to a first-place finish in the NCAA petite final (sixth as a team).

    As a freshman, Miladinovic started out with the varsity four boat and moved to the second varsity eight and rowed from the fifth and seventh seats towards the end of the spring season. She helped the Trojans to a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships and a third-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships. Miladinovic also helped the Women of Troy to wins over Clemson and UCLA in head-to-head races.

    Miladinovic rowed for Danubius 1885 Rowing Club for three years and won Serbian national championships in 2007 and 2008. She placed third at the 2008 Balkan Championships and raced in the 2008 Junior World Championships for Serbia.

    Jelena Miladinovic was born on Sept. 17, 1991, in Belgrade, Serbia... parents are Milan and Gordava... has twin brothers Aleksandrar and Danko (19)... she is a graduate of Gimnazija Isidora Sekulic in Belgrade... majoring in psychology.
