    Always calm and collected, Phebe Greenwood enters her fourth season in the USC program... in 2007, rowed at the No. 6 seat in the Third Varsity Eight en route to a stunning win at the 2007 San Diego Crew Classic to capture the Carley Copley Cup in the open division... rowed No. 2 with the Varsity Four for the Charles River Challenge and in a victory against UCLA... rowed from seat No. 4 with the JV Eight at the Pac-10 Championships, winning the bronze medals and contributing to USC's first Pac-10 Conference team championship... won the petite final at the NCAA championships rowing with the JV Eight... in 2006 rowed with the JV Eight from the No. 4 seat... in 2005, rowed with the Varsity Four and JV Eight, helping lead the Varsity Four crew to a Pac-10 Championship and a sixth place finish at the NCAA Championships... a member of the eleventh place NCAA squad, the first USC women's crew in history to receive a team bid to the NCAA Championships.

    Phebe Browning Greenwood was born in Santa Clara, Calif.... a 2004 graduate of the Groton School in Groton, Mass.... lettered in basketball all four years in high school... both parents attended Stanford... her father, Douglas, lettered in track & field... has two younger sisters, Elizabeth (Lisa) is a sophomore rower at USC, Hannah, is ranked No. 14 in the state of Virginia's under 14 bracket in tennis... majoring in Biomedical Engineering... would like to work in the medical devices industry.
