    Lindsay Gibson enters her junior season as a port and starboard rower for the Women of Troy.

    As a sophomore, Gibson served as a team captain for the Trojans and rowed the cycle with appearances in the varsity eight, second varsity eight, and the varsity four. Gibson rowed from the second seat and helped the varsity eight to wins in the Pac-12 Challenge, the Lake Natoma Invitational, and a victory at the San Diego Crew Classic for the team's fourth straight Jessop-Whittier Cup. With the 2V8, she raced in the Stanford and UCLA duals, and at the Pac-12 Championships, and then stroked the varsity four to a sixth-place finish in the grand final of the NCAA Championships.

    As a freshman, Gibson rowed from the fourth and sixth seats with the second varsity eight. She helped her boat win the Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Trophy at the San Diego Crew Classic and to wins at the Lake Natoma Invitational and over UCLA in the USC-UCLA dual. From the fourth seat, she helped the 2V8 to a second-place finish in the Pac-12 Championships and rowed in the sixth seat to help the 2V8 to a fourth-place finish in the grand final of the NCAA Championships.

    Gibson rowed for the Atlanta Junior Rowing Association for three years and was a member of the Pittsford Crew (New York) for two years. She was the 2012 AJRA Erg Sprints champion and was a 2009 Erg Sprints champion at Pittsford. She is the AJRA's record holder in both the 2K (7:12.00) and the 5K (1:54 split). Gibson was a member of the U.S. Junior National Team in 2010. She was invited to the selection camp as a sophomore and was selected to the High Performance Team that traveled to Germany to race the German National Team. Gibson helped her crew qualify for the 2010 US Rowing Youth National Championships. She also played basketball at Roswell HS as a forward where her team won the Region 6-AAAAA championship in 2011. Gibson was a three-time member of the Roswell HS Honor Roll (2010-12).
