Megan Biging enters her fourth season in the USC program...Rowed with the Varsity and JV Eights in the 2005 season...As a Junior in the No. 8 seat, led Varsity 8 crew to a third-place finish at Pac-10s and a 12th-place finish at NCAAs... A member of the 2005 11th place NCAA squad, the first team in USC history to receive a team bid to the NCAA championships... Rowed with both the Varsity and JV Eights during the 2004 season... Helped lead JV Eight crew to a fourth-place finish at the 2004 Pac-10s in the No. 7 seat ... Rowed with the Varsity Eight in 2003 in the No. 3 seat... Crew finished fifth at Pac-10s and sixth at NCAAs.
During the summer of 2004, Biging competed with the Vesper Boat Club (Philadelphia, Pa.), finishing second in Women's Senior Fours and first in Women's Senior Eights at the Canadian Henley (Ontario, Canada), and earning a first-place finish at the Schuylkill Navy Regatta (Philadelphia) in doubles.
Biging is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Los Angeles ... Played two years of junior varsity volleyball in high school... Rowed with the Marina Aquatic Center for two years... Crew qualified for 2002 Junior Nationals and finished second at Southwest Championships... Attended the 2002 U.S. Junior National Team Selection Camp... Attended the Junior National Development Camp in 2001... A psychology major who would like to pursue a career as a teacher, psychologist or veterinary doctor.
