Iskra Angelova is a senior port who was a key member of USC's varsity eight the last two years...In 2011, Angelova was a mainstay in the No. 2 seat for the Varsity Eight in one of the most successful years in the programs history...She played an integral role in USC's third place finish at the Pac-10 Championships and fifth place finish at the NCAA Championships...Additionally, Angelova helped guide the Women of Troy to a the Jessop-Whittier Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic as well as wins over Clemson, Michigan State, Virginia and UCLA...In 2010, Angelova anchored the second seat all season for the Trojans helping them to a fourth place finish at the Pac-10 Championships as well as a eighth place finish at the NCAA Championships...She also rowed in first place finishes at the Head of the American and Ohio State as well as wins at the UCLA Dual and over Notre Dame at the SoCal Challenge... In 2009 Angelova took over the stroke position throughout the season as a freshman and helped the Trojans reach the NCAA Championships, where they finished 11th ... She also helped USC's varsity eight demolish UCLA by more than 18 seconds last year and contributed to USC's success at the Charles River Challenge.

From 2005-2008 From 2005-2008 Angelova was a member of the Bulgarian National Team...finished fourth in the single at the U-23 World Championships in 2008...placed fourth in the straight pair a the 2007 Junior World Championships...won second place in the straight pair at the Junior World Championships in 2006..from 2005-2008 Angelova won 12 gold medals at the Bulgarian National Championships.
