USC Record Holder — 400m IH
Two-Time Pac-10 Champion — 400m IH
THIS YEAR: Natasha Danvers is the Pac-10 400m IH champ for two years running and an All-American in both the 400m IH and the 1,600m relay. The senior is one of the best all-around athletes on the Women of Troy squad and owns the USC school record in the 400m IH (55.69) as well as the third-fastest 100m HH time (13.20) in program history. She is an NCAA title contender in 2000 and may eventually make a showing on the international scene. Natasha is currently represented on five of USC’s all-time Top 10 charts (400m, 100m HH, 400m IH, high jump and 1,600m relay).
1999: Finished fourth in the 400m IH at the NCAA Championships with a time of 56.03 ... Led off on USC's school and Pac-10 record- breaking 1,600m relay team that finished second to Texas (3:28.08) at the NCAAs ... Won the 400m IH at the Pac-10s for the second consecutive year in a Pac-10 meet record time of 55.75 ... Finished second in the 100m HH at the Pac-10s with a time of 13.48.
1998: Finished third in the 400m IH at the NCAA Championships with a time of 56.35 ... Led off on USC’s 1,600m relay that ran 3:31.89 to finish fifth at the NCAA Championships and also placed 15th in the high jump at 5-8 (1.73) ... Ran the lead leg of USC’s Pac-10 championship 1,600m relay and finished second in both the 100m HH (13.32) and high jump (5-11 1/2), accounting for a total of 28 1/2 points by herself.
1997: Finished second at the Pac-10s in both the 400m IH (56.84) and 100m HH (13.55) ... Ran a 13.33w to finish third at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet ... Before coming to USC, her previous performances included being a European Junior finalist, a World Junior finalist and a two-time British Junior champion.
HIGH SCHOOL: Natasha won athletic honors at the club, county, London, England and British levels.
PERSONAL: Natasha, who also goes by the name Tasha, was born on Sept. 19, 1977, in London, England. She is majoring in Music Business at USC.
