LOS ANGELES - The Women of Troy (3-3) head east to play in their first road game of the season but it will be a stiff test as USC faces an undefeated No. 9-ranked Massachusetts (8-0) at McGuirk Stadium in Amherst, Mass., at noon ET on Saturday, March 22. Last year, the Trojans went 4-4 in road games but lost three on East Coast trips (Princeton, Brown, and Bryant). The Minutewomen--ranked 14th at the time--were USC's first opponent to play at McAlister Field in 2013. UMass claimed an 18-9 win on Feb. 10, in the only other meeting between the schools.

USC had its three-game winning streak snapped in a home loss to Princeton on Wednesday and is looking to start another streak on the road. The Trojans had played all six games to open the season at home and will now see what they can do on the road.

When they return to Southern California, the Trojans will have to take on a 6-1 San Diego State squad at McAlister Field (March 26) before they go on the road for an MPSF contest at Fresno State (1-8) on March 28.

Tournament Bound Trojans Hold Off Aztec Attack for 12-11 Win
In a dramatic regular-season finish, the USC women's lacrosse team earned a 12-11 victory over San Diego State to seize fourth place in the final Mountain Pacific Sports Federation standings and claim the final spot in the conference postseason tournament. In their inaugural season, the Women of Troy (8-9, 5-3 MPSF) finished three spots higher than the league's coaches had predicted in a preseason poll as they wrestled away the win from the Aztecs (8-8, 3-5 MPSF) at Aztec Lacrosse Field on Saturday, April 27.

USC Women's Lacrosse Bulldozes Bulldogs in 19-1 Victory
USC women's lacrosse freshman midfield Amanda Johansen secured a career-high 13 draw controls to help the Women of Troy (7-9, 4-3 MPSF) secure a lopsided 19-1 win over Fresno State (2-13, 0-8) at McAlister Field on Saturday, April 20. Johansen's 13 gets were just two shy of tying the NCAA record (15 by Allie Emala, Virginia Tech; March 14, 2009) and helps keep the Trojans in the hunt for a spot in the upcoming MPSF tournament.
