    The Women of Troy defeated the Blackbirds, 23-8, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to win their first-ever road game.

    Dreyer enters her senior season as a midfielder for the Women of Troy.

    As a junior, Dreyer appeared in 10 games before suffering a leg injury that sidelined her for the remainder of the season… an MPSF All-Academic Team selection… scored five points (3g, 2a), had nine ground balls, won nine draw controls, and caused three turnovers… won three draws in games against Marist (Feb. 22) and Marquette (March 15)… scored one goal each against Marist, California (March 13), and Dartmouth (March 28).

    As a sophomore, Dreyer appeared in 18 and started 17 of USC’s games… named to the MPSF All-Academic Team… scored eight goals and recorded an assist for nine points… went 4-for-7 on free-position shot attempts and finished with 13 draw controls, 12 ground balls, and 10 caused turnovers… had three games in which she scored two goals including against LIU Brooklyn (March 9) when she added her assist for a season-high three point.

    As a freshman, Dreyer appeared in and started 15 of USC’s games during the program’s inaugural season… picked up 24 ground balls, secured 17 draw controls, and caused 13 turnovers… finished the season tied for third on the squad in ground balls… scored two goals in USC’s 19-1 win over Fresno State on April 20. 

    Dreyer was a four-year letterwinner at Watchung Hills Regional High School… U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American as a junior and senior… selected to the Skyland Conference Delaware Division First Team as a junior and senior… chosen for the Skyland Conference All-League First Team as a sophomore… played in the North Jersey Senior All-Star Game… team captain as a senior… played club lacrosse for T3 Lacrosse for six years… member of the National English Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.

    Kelsey Elizabeth Dreyer was born on March 31, 1994, in Morristown, N.J…. parents are Russell and Sally Dreyer… mother Sally played college lacrosse and father Russell played college baseball… has two brothers, Ryan and Brendan… majoring in policy planning and development and hopes to pursue a career in real estate development.
