    NCAA Career in Sports Forum

    USC women's lacrosse midfielder Drew Jackson attends the 2015 NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis.

    Jackson is a senior midfielder for the Women of Troy.

    As a junior, Jackson appeared in 13 games and finished with 16 points (11g, 5a)… had six caused turnovers, five ground balls, and five draw controls… shot 3-for-4 from free position and had a .667 shots-on-goal percentage… scored her first two career hat tricks with three goals apiece against Stetson (Feb. 13) and Saint Mary’s College (March 20)… broke out for a career-high five points (3g, 2a), with two ground balls, two draw controls, and two caused turnovers against Saint Mary’s College.

    As a sophomore, Jackson appeared in eight games and finished the season with two goals, one ground ball, a caused turnover, and four draw controls… scored a season-high two goals against Saint Mary’s College (Mar. 20)… selected to attend the NCAA’s Career In Sports Forum in June.

    As a freshman, Jackson appeared in five games… scored one goal, and picked up a ground ball in USC’s 16-6 win over Fresno State on March 28… finished with one goal, seven draw controls, and two ground balls.

    Jackson was a four-year letterwinner at Woodward Academy… was a three-time US Lacrosse First Team All-American, once as a sophomore, junior, and senior… third highest scorer in the country and fifth in the country for points as a junior (2012)… led Woodward Academy in goals for four seasons… holds school record in goals (449), Assists (154), Points (603), ground balls (528), and caused turnovers (125)… holds single-season school records for goals, and ground balls, as well as single-game records for goals (14) and points (22)… is the Georgia State all-time leading scorer… four-time Woodward Academy Team MVP… team captain two years, once junior year and once senior year… was also a four-year letterwinner on the girl’s basketball team… played club lacrosse with XTEAM Black for three years and Milton Eaglestix for one year.

    Roxie Drew Jackson was born on May 12, 1995, in Atlanta, Ga.… parents are Carl and Roxie Jackson… has one brother, Carl… father Carl played football at Virginia Military Institute (VMI)… brother Carl played football at Virginia Tech and was a first-team All-American in high school lacrosse… involved in Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta… majoring in broadcast and digital journalism.
