    Del Core is a senior attacker for the Women of Troy.

    As a junior, Del Core appeared in 18 games and started 16 times… scored 32 points (24g, 8a), picked up 14 ground balls, and secured four draw controls with three caused turnovers… shot 4-for-5 from free position and had a .870 shots-on-goal percentage (40 sog)… scored game-winning goals in back-to-back games; first against San Diego State (Apr. 2), and then at Colorado (Apr. 9) in the final minute of the game… set a new career mark with four ground balls against Dartmouth (March 23).

    As a sophomore, Del Core started 19 games and appeared in all 20 contests for the Trojans… scored 30 points (27g, 3a) and ranked fifth on the team in points, fourth in goals (27)… shot 46 times and had a .848 shots-on-goal percentage (39 sog)… scored one game-winning goal and was 2-for-8 on free-position shots… caused 11 turnovers, had 13 ground balls, and secured seven draw controls… set career marks in all categories including three games in which she had four goals each.

    As a freshman, Del Core appeared in five games… scored two goals against Fresno State (March 28) and finished with two goals, two assists, four points, one ground ball, and one caused turnover.

    Del Core was a four-year letterwinner at Bay Shore High School… named First Team US Lacrosse All-American as a senior… 2013 Newsday All-Long Island First Team selection… led her team to the Suffolk County Class A Championship with seven goals in the title game… named US Lacrosse Academic All-American her junior year… chosen for All-Suffolk County honors as a junior as she averaged 3.45 goals per game and had seven games with three or more assists… played her club lacrosse with the Long Island Top Guns… also ran track, played tennis, soccer, basketball, and was a swimmer during high school.

    Cynthia Del Core was born on May 28, 1995, in Bay Shore, N.Y.… parents are Sebastian and Gina Del Core… has one brother, Evan… lists NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan as her sports hero… prepped at Bay Shore HS where teammate Caroline deLyra also played high school lacrosse… majoring in international relations.
