USC four-time All-American Lizette Salas bested a nine-woman, three-hole playoff to snag the 20th and final full-status LPGA card at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament on Sunday (Dec. 4) in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Salas, who graduated last spring and began her professional career shortly after, birdied all three playoff holes - including an 18-footer on the final hole -- to earn her card.

"I saw it trickle and I said keep going, keep going and it went in," Salas said of the putt at 18.

Salas, who also birdied her final regulation hole to make the playoff, added: "This means the world to me. I'm just relieved and so excited."

Also in the playoff were former Trojans Paola Moreno (a teammate of Salas' on USC's 2008 NCAA title team) and Veronica Felibert. Both Moreno and Felibert earned partial LPGA status with their results.

Former All-American Tanya Dergal, a member of USC's 2003 NCAA championship team, tied for 15th to also earn a full-status card.
